We are pleased to announce that we are working again with Autism and Nature. They produce books designed to help parents, carers and teachers to engage children with autism and related disabilities with the countryside, natural world and our rural heritage. And they are free of charge, available in print and to download.

Books available include:

  • County guides to visiting the countryside offering suggestions of natural places to visit and practical help to planning and visiting these places

  • Alex and Rosie Adventure Books present a series of short stories about 2 young children who visit places featured in our countryside guides. Illustrations are accompanied by simple text supported by Widgit symbols

  • Alex and Rosie Colouring Books present landscapes, wildlife and countryside activities to colour, featuring natural places included in our countryside guides

  • County guides to exploring local heritage offer suggestions of heritage places to visit and practical help to planning and visiting these places
