Essex County Council, as part of our wider short breaks offer, are working on a new virtual clubs and activities offer for SEND children and young people living in Essex.
It is important we understand what our parents/ carers, children and young people want from a virtual offer so we are asking for your views to help us shape what this new offer could look like.
We want to make engagement with us as simple and accessible as possible. We understand people may have different preferences and what works for one person might not work for others so we have offered several choices for you to be able to share your feedback.
- An online survey that should take around 5 minutes to complete, closes on Sunday the 23rd of April
- Email us your views to cypengagement@essex.gov.uk
- Virtual drop in sessions on MS Teams. There is no need to book, just click on the link below at the time that suits you. You do not need to join for the whole session, just come along for an informal chat with a member of our team.

Enter a prize draw
As a thank you for giving us your time to feedback on the virtual offer, there is an opportunity to be entered into a prize draw. The prizes available are;
- Signing hands sensory packs. Includes gift bag , finger puppet and book
- Colchester Zoo/ or attraction annual pass for child and parent/carer
- Lego set or Lego gift voucher up to the value of £100
To be entered into the prize draw you need to either complete the online survey, attend a virtual drop in session or email cypengagement@essex.gov.uk with your feedback in regards to the virtual offer.
