Join one of our online engagement sessions this October to share your views on Short Breaks Community Clubs and Activities in Essex and help shape future commissioning.

The Short Breaks Community Clubs and Activities (SBCCA) contracts are due to end in March 2028. Essex County Council is beginning to plan for future Short Breaks Community Clubs and Activities provision from April 2028 and would like to hear from children, young people and families.

Commissioners are keen to understand your experiences of Short Breaks Community Clubs and Activities, including:

✅ What's working well
✅ What's important to you and your family
✅ Ideas and suggestions for the future

We would like to hear from all families- whether you currently access Short Breaks Community Clubs and Activities, have accessed them in the past, or have never accessed them before.

Commissioners have already visited a number of clubs, activities and parent carer support groups across Essex and have received valuable feedback. We are now keen to hear from even more families.
